Interior Comparison
The 2024 Ford F-150 offers a choice of four-door cabs, as does the 2024 Toyota Tundra. We’ve selected each model’s largest cab for our comparison. Here, you can choose plush leather upholstery and wood interior accents for either full-size pickup truck. You can also get fold-flat front seats in the 2024 Ford F-150. These offer a comfortable sleeping experience for the driver and front passenger when out and about. The 2024 Tundra doesn’t offer similar seats.
Both trucks offer features such as heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats. They can also be outfitted with wireless phone chargers, dual-zone climate control systems, and head-up displays. Plus, the 2024 F-150 allows you to fold down its gear shifter when parked, creating a flat work surface atop the center console. The 2024 Tundra doesn’t have this neat feature, nor does it have as much storage space as the 2024 F-150. For example, some trims of the 2024 F-150 include lockable and hidden storage beneath the rear seat cushions. Alternatively, you can flip up the rear seat cushions for cargo space within the cab.
The 2024 F-150 and the 2024 Tundra offer various cargo bed lengths depending on cab choice. Both models can also be equipped with aftermarket tonneau covers for secure and weatherproof bed storage. Ford offers a neat Pro Access tailgate that allows you to open it in the typical drop-down fashion or sideways. You can also opt for Ford’s Pro Power system, which is an in-bed power inverter with up to 7.2 kilowatts of power available via six power sockets. The 2024 Tundra isn’t as well-equipped.
Both full-size pickup trucks have Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity. The 2024 F-150 provides a digital gauge cluster for all trims, which isn’t available for the 2024 Tundra. Higher trims of the 2024 F-150 enjoy a B&O sound system and 5G Wi-Fi hotspot.
