How to Quickly Replace a Flat Tire

If you just felt your tire blow as you’re driving down the road in Chapmanville, you need to act quickly. Your goal should be to get a spare in place so you can continue your drive.

The first thing you want to do is pull off to the side of the road. Once you are in a safe place, you can then secure your vehicle and get ready to put on the spare. Most spares are found in the trunk or attached to the undercarriage. Once you locate the spare, grab a car jack and lug wrench as well.

You will need to loosen the lug nuts, lift up your car, remove the lug nuts as well as the wheel, and then remove the flat tire. From there, you can put on your spare and then lower the car.

Be sure to call our service center at Thornhill Ford Lincoln, too, so that we can get a new tire for you.
